   Plymouth Christian Academy rolled past Michigan Independent Athletic Conference rival Birmingham Roeper 7-0 to earn its first boys soccer victory of the season on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Plymouth Christian.

   Plymouth Christian (1-0-1) jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead on three goals from senior Nathan Etnyre and a penalty kick goal from senior Robert Dotson, III.

   The Eagles added two goals from senior captain Nicholas Scott and a

 

goal from senior Jacob Weertz in the second half.

    Senior Billon Morby earned the shutout in goal for the Eagles.

   Plymouth Christian tied Riverview Gabriel Richard 2-2 in their season-opener on Aug. 29 in Rossford, Ohio.

   The Eagles travel to Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central on Saturday, Sept. 12, for a tournament where they will face the host school, Ida, and Wyandotte.
