University of Detroit Jesuit, Flint Powers Catholic, Jackson Lumen Christi, and Fowler topped the first Michigan Sports Writers high
school boys basketball rankings of the season on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
DIVISION 1: Jesuit topped the rankings. Muskegon was
second. Defending Michigan High School Athletic Association champion Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory was third.
DIVISION
2: Flint Powers was first. Hudsonville Unity Christian was second. 2024 MHSAA runner-up Detroit Old Redford was third.
DIVISION 3: Lumen Christi topped the rankings. Millington was second. Maple City Glen Lake was third.
DIVISION 4: Fowler
was first. Defending MHSAA champion Wyoming Tri-unity Christian was second. Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart was third.
