Michigan high school girls basketball: Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart tops Detroit Cristo Rey on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025

   Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart beat Catholic High School League Intersection 2 girls basketball rival Detroit Cristo Rey 38-7 on Friday, Jan. 17, at Cristo Rey.

   Sacred Heart led 30-2 at halftime.

  Nine players scored in a balanced attack for Sacred Heart.

   Sophomore Josephine Jackson, sophomore Katherine Pugh, senior Adriana Kattoula, freshman Amerie Alkatib, senior Atia Bella Samuel, freshman Jada LaBelle, freshman Audrey Kujawa, freshman Mariana Gomez, and sophomore Seidra Abdo each scored in the victory.

   Sacred Heart hosts league foe Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes and Cristo Rey hosts league rival Marine City Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
