Michigan high school girls basketball: Birmingham Roeper beat Novi Christian Academy 43-22 on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025

   Birmingham Roeper downed Michigan Independent Athletic Association Red Division girls basketball rival Novi Christian Academy 43-22 on Monday, Jan. 6, at the Roeper Community Center in Bloomfield Hills.

   Roeper led 15-6 after one quarter, 24-14 at halftime, and 31-20 after three quarters.

   Sofia Salinas led Roeper with 23 points. Lydia Carlson (2) and Natalia Salinas (10) both scored eight points in the victory.

   Adriana Fandino scored eight points for Novi Christian.

      Roeper (2-3) faces Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart (0-5) on Wednesday, Jan. 8 and hosts Plymouth Christian Academy (3-5) on Friday, Jan. 10.

   Novi Christian (0-4) hosts Ann Arbor Greenhills (2-4) on Thursday, Jan. 9.
