Detroit Country Day stops Warren Regina to go 6-0

Detroit Country Day remained undefeated, rolling past Warren Regina 75-53 in girls basketball action on Friday, Jan. 3, at Country Day.
Country Day led 19-8 after one quarter, 48-20 at halftime, and 63-37 after three quarters.
Junior Jayla Jackson scored 26 points to lead Country Day. Sophomore Cece Arico scored 20 points. Junior Naiya Krispin had 13 points. Sophomore Sanyiah Blackwell added eight points in the victory.
Senior Sara Wilking led Regina with 18 points.
Country Day (6-0) travels to face Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory (7-0) on Tuesday, Jan. 7. St. Mary’s Prep beat Oxford 54-37 on Friday.
Regina (3-3) hosts Bloomfield Hills Marian (1-4) on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
