Michigan high school boys hockey: Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett beats Allen Park

  Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett shut out Allen Park 5-0 in boys hockey action at the Frank J Lada Civic Arena in Allen Park on Monday, Jan. 6.

   Liggett led 2-0 after one period and 4-0 after two periods.

   Nick Gould, Cam Stapleton, Landen Maltby, Gary Stacy, and Andrew Johnson scored for Liggett.

   Luc Valiot and Graham Jacob combined for the shutout in goal.

   Liggett (7-4-0) hosts Jackson Lumen Christi (7-3-2) on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

   Allen Park (1-13-0) travels to face Saginaw Heritage (0-10-0) at the Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City on Thursday, Jan. 9.
