Michigan high school girls basketball: Detroit Osborn downs Detroit East English Village Preparatory Academy at Finney 59-37 on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025

Posted Friday, Jan. 17, 2025   Detroit Osborn rolled past Detroit Public School League Gold Division girls basketball rival Detroit East English Village Preparatory Academy at Finney 59-37 on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Osborn.

   Danai Childs led Osborn with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals. Jayle Dowell had 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 steals. Shania Gratsy had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.

   East English (7-5/6-2) travels to face Detroit Western International (6-3/5-3) on Jan. 23. 

   Osborn (10-1/7-1) hosts Detroit Cody (5-5/3-4) on Jan. 27.
