Michigan high school girls basketball: Wixom St. Catherine of Siena beats Allen Park Cabrini 69-49 on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025

   Wixom St. Catherine of Siena rolled past Catholic High School League AA Division girls basketball rival Allen Park Cabrini 69-49 on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Cabrini.

   St. Catherine led 17-8 after one quarter, 40-27 at halftime, and 50-40 after three quarters.

   Sophomore Lauren Smith and senior Caitlin Griffin both scored 24 points to lead St. Catherine. Junior Stephanie Lisch added 10 points in the victory.

   Junior Madisyn Smith led Cabrini with 19 points.

   St. Catherine (6-2, 3-0) hosts division rival Macomb Lutheran North (5-3/2-2) and Cabrini (6-2, 1-2) hosts division foe Madison Heights Bishop Foley (0-9/0-3) on Friday, Jan. 17.
