Michigan high school boys basketball: Southfield Christian defeated Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 53-49 on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025

   Southfield Christian won its sixth straight boys basketball game, holding off Michigan Independent Athletic Conference Blue Division rival Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 53-49 on Friday, Jan. 10, at Southfield Christian.

  Southfield Christian led 17-9 after one quarter, 29-28 at halftime, and 38-34 after three quarters.

   Levi Taylor led Southfield Christian with 17 points. Justin Bryant and Ronin Seals both scored 11 points. Brock Morris added eight points in the victory.

  Jake Brock scored 20 points to lead Oakland Christian.

   Southfield Christian (8-1) travels to face Burton Genesee Christian (2-7) on Saturday, Jan. 11.

   Oakland Christian (5-6) hosts Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (2-3) on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
