Wixom St. Catherine of Siena downed Catholic High School League AA Division girls basketball rival Royal Oak Shrine 69-47 on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Shrine.
St. Catherine led 16-9 after one quarter, 37-25 at halftime, and 55-37 after three quarters.
Senior Caitlin Griffin scored 19 points to lead St. Catherine. Freshman Brooklyn Mills scored 13 points. Junior Ava Lassey had 12 points. Sophomore Lauren Smith scored nine points. Junior Stephanie Lisch added eight points in the victory.
Senior Tess Tillman scored 20 points to lead Shrine.
St. Catherine (4-2) hosts league foe Madison Heights Bishop Foley (0-8/0-2) and Shrine (3-5/0-2) hosts league foe Allen Park Cabrini (6-0/1-0) on Friday, Jan. 10.
