Michigan high school boys hockey: Muskegon Mona Shores beats Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 4-2 on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025

   Muskegon Mona Shores rallied to beat Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 4-2 in boys hockey action on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Lakeshore Sports Centre in Muskegon.

   Kenowa Hills led 2-1 late in the third period, only to see Mona Shores score three unanswered goals to win the game.

   Eli Habetler, Nathan Tilden, and Brady Tilden scored the final three goals with less than three minutes for Mona Shores. Vaire VanderWalle opened the scoring in the second period in the victory.

  Mona Shores outshot Kenowa Hills 58-11.

   Mona Shores (9-4-1) hosts Midland (5-3-1) and Kenowa Hills (6-8-0) hosts Kalamazoo Loy Norrix (5-5-0) on Friday, Jan. 9.
