Michigan high school girls basketball: Dearborn Heights Robichaud beat Oak Park 40-1 on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025

   Dearborn Heights Robichaud won its fifth girls basketball game of the season, beating Oak Park 40-1 on Thursday, Jan. 9, at Oak Park.

   Robichaud has shown dramatic improvement this season, already matching last season’s win total. Robichaud finished 5-18 (three of the wins by forfeit) in 2023-24

   Robichaud held Oak Park scoreless for the first three quarters.

  Naomi Cowles led Robichaud with 19 points. Cassidy Raymore scored six points. Destiny Vesey had five points. Leshawne Forris and Shiaire Little both scored four points in the victory.

   Robichaud (5-2/3-2) travels to face Western Wayne Athletic Conference foe Melvindale (0-7/0-4) on Friday, Jan. 10.

   Oak Park (0-4) travels to face Ferndale University (5-4) on Jan. 23.
